Your Head Is the Camera

Tiltility 1.2 is our biggest update yet. Until now, tilting your head triggered keys and buttons. Starting today, your head can drive the in-game camera directly, lean into a turn, glance at your wingman, check your mirrors, all with your real head movement.

New: FreeTrack Head Tracking

Tiltility now outputs real-time head pose over the industry-standard FreeTrack Enhanced 2.0 protocol. That means it works with the huge library of games and sims that already support FreeTrack / TrackIR — flight sims, space sims, racing games, and anything wired up through opentrack.

• Full 6DoF tracking — three rotations (roll, pitch, yaw) plus three translations (X, Y, Z). Your position and orientation both come through.
• Works automatically — no pairing step. Turn it on, enable head tracking in your game, and look around.
• Per-axis tuning — independent Sensitivity (0.10x–5.00x), Deadzone, and Invert on every axis, so you can dial in exactly the feel you want.
• Relative Z + Recenter — perfect for games that expect a centered depth axis.
• Live status — see at a glance when a game is connected and receiving your movement.

New: The Laser Model

FreeTrack is powered by Laser — our new, most accurate tracking model. It's the only Tiltility model that computes full 3D head position, and it's tuned for the precision that immersive head tracking demands.

• Highest accuracy of any Tiltility model, while staying fast.
• Full 3D head position (x/y/z) for smooth, natural in-game camera control.

Pick it any time under Settings → Inference. (Laser is dedicated to head pose, so hand-gesture and body tracking pause while it's active — switch back to Blaze or Nova whenever you want gestures.)

Play Comfortably

Head tracking moves the in-game camera with your real head, which can cause motion sickness for some players — especially at high sensitivity. Tiltility shows a health notice the first time you enable it and warns you when you push sensitivity past 1.0x. Start gentle, take breaks, and ramp up as you get comfortable.

How to Try It

1. Open Settings → Inference and select the Laser model
2. A new FreeTrack tab appears in Key Bindings — open it to start output
3. Enable FreeTrack / TrackIR head tracking in your game (or opentrack)
4. Move your head and enjoy the view
